Interact with your neighborhood’s health profile

To kick-off the Plan for a Healthy Los Angeles, the Department of City Planning released a Health Atlas in June. The report is a detailed analysis of health issues in Los Angeles, outlining the geographic concentration of issues that range from pollution to obesity and describe access to health amenities such as affordable produce and park space. The Health Atlas will help inform the goals and policies created in the Plan for a Healthy Los Angeles.

The project website provides the Health Atlas data in an interactive format so Angelenos can learn more about the health issues in their neighborhoods. The website also provides area profiles for the city’s planning areas so residents can see information for their individual communities, as well as compare how their neighborhoods are doing compared to the rest of the city.
